Local Australian Shipping:

John Barry online freight rates are calculated at check-out, and offer our customers the most effective, secure and efficient delivery options for your order. Freight is calculated on order weight, or cubic dimensions for oversize items.

Items in stock are generally dispatched within 24-48 hours of receiving your order by Star Track Courier service. Most stock orders are dispatched same-day. To maximize the efficiency of delivery, some orders may be delivered in multiple shipments from our interstate warehouses. Dangerous Goods can only be dispatched by road-freight courier.

Our shipping method within Australia is a standard shipping service which is a 2-3 day service to all capital and major cities. Outback and rural areas will often take an extra few days as these areas are not always serviced daily. Delivery time is subject to variation without notice depending on courier and postal delays. You will be contacted if extended delays are to occur for any reason.

The delivery times quoted below are from the time of dispatch from our warehouse, not from the time the order is placed online.

For your additional security, John Barry preferred couriers require a signature when delivering your order. Therefore, we do request that all items are delivered to a physical address occupied during normal business hours (such as a work address). If no one is at home or work at the time of delivery, a note will be left directing you to the nearest Star Track depot to collect and sign for the item or organize an alternative time for delivery.
Insurance for any item shipped is also available as an optional freight item. The Star Track Express courier service offers a Risk Warranty service that protects your consignment in the event of loss or damage.

International Shipping:

Shipping rates for international orders will be calculated per order, based on the cubic dimensions and dead-weight of the packed order. Your freight rate will be calculated from the best rate available on the day, from your choice of Australia Post EMS and International Courier services.

John Barry Conditions of Business (Shipping): 

The Company will use its best endeavors to affect delivery at the earliest possible time (if any) but failure to do so by reason of inability to obtain supplies of material or parts from the usual sources, or any strike or combination of workmen, shortage of labor or by lockout or by reason of war, riots, accident, civil commotion, fire, Act of God or any other cause whatsoever beyond the control of the Company shall not constitute a breach of contract but the Company may as its option cancel the contract or any unfulfilled part thereof or extend the time for its performance or completion until cessation of the cause preventing or delaying delivery. The place of delivery is the Company's warehouse or such other place as the Company may nominate. Unless otherwise agreed the Company shall not be liable for any loss or deterioration of or damage to the Goods from the time when the Goods are put on carrier's vehicle at the place of delivery notwithstanding that freight may be arranged or carrier engaged by the Company.

Orders placed with John Barry Sales are processed at these times:

Monday to Friday before 1pm.       In stock orders will be processed and shipped same day.

Friday after 1pm.                          In stock orders will be processed and shipped on the following Monday.
