PANASONIC 3G TICO Option for AK-UB300GJ
The AK-UTS03G output board can transmit a UHD signal in TICO compression format via a single 3G SDI cable. TICO enables the transmission of 4K signals via the existing 3G SDI infrastructure. The optional board provides two BNC outputs, optionally with UHD/HD. This board replaces the standard Quad-SDI output board built into the AK-UB300.
Supported formats are 2160/50p and 2160/25 with TICO. The 3G SDI signal is permanently set to Level A and 2-sample interleave (2SI). After installing the board, the TICO compression format is automatically activated when the system format is set to UHD.
With HD as system format (1080p, 1080i, CROP, 720p), the two outputs of the AK-UTS3G become corresponding to 3G/HD-SDI outputs. In this case, TICO is not activated.
